Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has received a welcoming boost ahead of the North London derby against Tottenham as several important players are set to return into action.

Numerous selection problems were one of the reasons for Arsenal’s poor start to the league campaign, but the Gunners have finally received some good news from the medical team.

Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have both resumed full training, while first choice keeper Wojciech Szczesny is expected to start his first game since mid September after watching the 3-3 draw with Fulham from the bench.

Thomas Rosicky is also training with the group, but he is unlikely to be in contention following such a long spell on the sidelines.

Kieran Gibbs is, however, not yet ready to return, while captain Thomas Vermaelen is doubtful after withdrawing from international duty due to unspecified injury.

With Jack Wilshire edging closer to full fitness, the Gunners look a good bet to beat out-of-form Tottenham, so bear in mind Coral pays 1.95 (19/20) on home win.
