Sunday afternoon’s sole Premier League fixture sees Aston Villa face Tottenham Hotspur at Villa Park.

The hosts currently sit tenth in the table, and go in to the game on the back of a goalless draw with Hull City two weeks ago.

Manager Paul Lambert will assess the fitness of Christian Benteke, who has missed the clubs last two league matches, ahead of the game.

The Belgium international is priced at 7.0 (6/1) with a variety of firms to get the first goal of the game, ahead of Andreas Weimann who is a 11.5 (21/2) shot with Bet Victor.

Villa are generously priced at 4.0 (3/1) with most bookmakers to take all three points, with Spurs favourites at 2.1 (11/10) with Bet Victor, who also offer a best price of 3.6 (13/5).

The visitors lost for only the second time this season last time out – falling to a 3-0 defeat to local rivals West Ham United.

Andres Villas Boas’ side now sit in sixth place, and will be keen to keep pace with the sides above them, most of which are expected to be there or thereabouts for the rest of the campaign.

Aaron Lennon is in contention to feature after recovering from a foot problem, while Danny Rose and Eteinne Capoue miss out.

Roberto Soldado is 6.5 (11/2) with Bet Victor to open the scoring, with Jermaine Defoe the same price with the same firm – both ahead of England’s man of the moment Andros Townsend, who is available at 18.0 (17/1).

Tottenham are unbeaten in nine meetings with Villa, while the Midlands side have failed to win any of the last six clashes between the sides in front of their own fans.

The North London side have kept four clean sheets from their seven league games, a record only bettered by Southampton.

Spurs are 3.8 (14/5) with Coral to win this match without conceding, while Bet Victor offer 56.0 (55/1) for a 4-0 away win, which was the outcome of last season’s corresponding fixture.
