Dnipro vs TottenhamJuande Ramos will be out to get revenge when his current side Dnipro host his former club Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League on Thursday.

The visitors are likely to use this game as an opportunity to rest some first team regulars, but they are not going to surrender without a fight.

Dnipro eased off to a place in the Europa League knockout stages despite losing twice to group winners Fiorentina, having won the remaining four games in style.

The Ukrainians scored nine goals and conceded just one in the process as they enjoyed double triumphs over Pacos Ferreira and Pandurii, while also impressing on domestic stage.

Led by Ukraine internationals Konoplyanka, Zozulya and Rotan, Dnipro finished the first part of the league campaign just six points behind leaders Shakhtar Donetsk, but it is important to note Juande Ramos’ side have a game in hand.

The game against Tottenham comes at a bad time as the domestic campaign does not resume for another ten days, with Dnipro priced at 2.90 (19/10) to beat their more illustrious opponents.

Juande Ramos’ charges have defeated CSKA Moscow 1-0 in their final warm-up game, which should give them confidence going into the Spurs match.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Boyko – Fedetskiy, Mandzyuk, Cheberyachko, Strinic – Kankava, Rotan – Mateus, Zozulya, Konoplyanka – Seleznyov.

It is hardly surprising Tottenham are one of the main candidates for the Europa League trophy, having cruised into the knockout stages.

Despite fielding weakened sides, Spurs won all six group games to secure the first place in their group, and were in turn pitted against very good Dnipro side.

And with their Premier League campaign finally back on track following back to back victories over Everton and Newcastle, chances are that Tim Sherwood will not risk his key players in midweek.

Even so, Tottenham have been made 2.80 (9/5) favourites to win the first leg, although it is more than clear they face a tough task in Ukraine.

The latest media reports suggest that Emmanuel Adebayor, Jermain Defoe and Kyle Walker will not even travel with the squad, whereas few more starters should be rested.

Vlad Chiriches and Erik Lamela are definitely out, whereas Danny Rose and Gylfi Sigurdsson face fitness tests.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Friedel – Naughton, Kaboul, Dawson, Rose – Capoue, Bentaleb – Townsend, Soldado, Chadli – Kane.
