Borussia Dortmund are not open to entertaining any offers for star forward Jadon Sancho in January.

The English starlet has once again been in tremendous form throughout the first-half of the 2019/20 season, leading to suggestions that Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona, amongst a collection of more of Europe’s leading clubs, hold an interest in signing him this January.

However, according to Sky in Germany, the 19-year-old’s current employers Dortmund are resisting any advances for his signature during the transfer window and instead are determined to keep him at the club.

According to the reports, Sancho has no release clause in his deal with the German giants and remains under contract until the summer of 2022. As well as this, Dortmund also feel that they would not be able to recruit a suitable replacement for the winger should he depart the Westfalenstadion.

Sancho has been brilliant since signing for the club from Manchester City back in 2017. In 79 appearances for the German outfit, the youngster has scored 26 goals and provided a further 36 assists.

As a result of his brilliant form for Dortmund, he was also rewarded with first-ever England cap in October 2018 and has gone on to make a further 10 appearances for his country.

Despite the confirmation that Dortmund are not wishing to sell, Chelsea are the most fancied to be Sancho’s employers come the closure of the January transfer window should he leave at a price of 7/1 with Betfair.
