Keylor NavasCosta Rica goalkeeper Keylor Navas has missed training on Wednesday due to injury, but he has a good chance of making the Netherlands clash.

The 27-year-old was not risked as he battles a shoulder injury, but the medical team believe he should be ready for the World Cup quarter-finals.

“We have to be careful and keep an eye on it,” said doctor Erick Sanchez. “We chose to be careful with him and let him rest so he can play on Saturday.”

The keeper’s stunning performances were one of the reasons why Costa Rica won the first place in the group of death, while he also saved a decisive penalty against Greece to set up a clash with Netherlands.

Even if they are considered major underdogs, Los Ticos can be backed at 4.75 (15/4) to qualify for the semi-finals, whilst Navas is 6.50 (11/2) to keep a clean sheet in regular time.

Navas has so far conceded just two goals in four World Cup matches, and boss Jorge Luis Pinto will be hoping his 5-4-1 formation will frustrate Netherlands as well.
