Real vs CityManchester City will be hoping to spring a surprise in their first ever appearance in the Champions League semi-finals against a team that have been in this situation no fewer than 26 times.

And with both sides at full strength at the moment and in pretty good form, a spectacle of football appears on the cards at Etihad Stadium.

This season has not exactly been a huge success for Manchester City, but they still have time to turning things around.

The Citizens may have failed to mount a serious title challenge in the Premier League, but they secured the Capital One Cup title and made it to the Champions League last four for the first time ever.

Man City have seriously raised their form of late, mostly thanks to the return of Kevin De Bruyne, who has played an important role in helping star striker Sergio Aguero get back to his best.

The Argentine forward has now bagged five goals in last three appearances and he is available at 5.50 (9/2) to score first vs Real Madrid.

Manuel Pellegrini welcomes back Kevin De Bruyne, Vincent Kompany and Fernandinho to the side after they were rested in weekend’s triumph over Stoke City.

Yaya Toure and Fernando picked up injuries in said game, but there is a good chance both will recover in time for the Real Madrid clash.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Hart – Zabaleta, Kompany, Otamendi, Clichy – Fernando, Fernandinho – Navas, De Bruyne, Silva – Aguero.

Things did not look too good for Real Madrid few weeks ago as they trailed Barcelona seven points in La Liga while suffering a 2-0 loss to Wolfsburg in the Champions League quarter-final first leg.

But, just when people started doubting their title credentials, los Blancos recorded a 3-0 win in the return match to make it to the last four, while taking advantage of Barca’s slip-ups to revive their title bid in La Liga.

Zinedine Zidane’s side are in much better spirits now that they have recorded five straight wins, even though they needed to work really hard for weekend’s triumph over Rayo Vallecano.

Gareth Bale proved the hero as he scored two goals to keep his side in the title chase, proving he can be a real leader of this team.

But, with Cristiano Ronaldo likely to return to the starting line-up, Real Madrid are available at 2.50 (3/2) to win at Etihad Stadium.

Daniel Carvajal is another player back in contention, while Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale are expected to shake off minor knocks.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Navas – Carvajal, Pepe, Ramos, Marcelo – Modric, Casemiro, Kroos – Bale, Benzema, Ronaldo.
