Jurgen Klinsmann has said that Manchester City are the favourites to win against Chelsea in the final of the Champions League this season.
Premier League clubs City and Chelsea will face each other in the final of Europe’s premier club competition this weekend.
The final will help at Estádio do Dragão in Porto on Saturday evening.
City, who have won the Premier League title this season, will play in their first ever Champions League final.
Chelsea won the Champions League in 2012 and also reached the final in 2008.
Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Klinsmann believes that Pep Guardiola’s City will head into the final against Chelsea as favourites.
Klinsmann told Sky Sports: “I think Man City played a fantastic season under Pep Guardiola. In a couple of years you can see the growth of that team and the type of football they’re playing.
“You have to be a fan of them in a certain way. I see them as slightly favourites above Chelsea but it will be an exciting final.”
According to Betfair, the odds of City winning the final 2-1 are 15/2, while Chelsea can be backed at 19/1 to win 2-0.
