Milan vs JuventusThe match against Serie A leaders Juventus will serve as a perfect test for Clarence Seedorf to see just how far his team have come over the last couple of months.

However, the pressure will be on their opponents as any slip-up would prove costly now that Roma are breathing down their necks.

Milan chiefs opted to appoint Clarence Seedorf as the new boss not only to save the current season but to give him enough time to prepare for the next and that seemed to have been a very good decision.

The club management helped by adding the likes of Rami, Honda, Taarabt and Essien to the ranks at San Siro, and the new players have been like a breath of fresh air.

Milan indeed showed plenty of promise over the last few weeks, with back to back league triumphs over Bologna and Sampdoria helping them revive their bid for European positions.

And having also produced an excellent showing in the Champions League defeat to Atletico Madrid, the Rossoneri go into the Juventus clash full of confidence and they are available at 4.00 (3/1) to claim maximum points.

There have been some good news for Clarence Seedorf given that Christian Abbiati, Daniele Bonera, Robinho, Valter Birsa and Kevin Constant all resumed full training.

Mattia De Sciglio and Cristian Zapata are injury doubts, whereas Mario Balotelli and Sulley Muntari miss out through shoulder problem and suspension respectively.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Abbiati – De Sciglio, Rami, Bonera, Emanuelson – de Jong, Montolivo – Honda, Kaka, Taarabt – Pazzini.

Juventus are on the road to their third successive Serie A trophy, but there is still a long way to go before they can clinch the league title.

Following an unfortunate exit from the Champions League, the Bianconeri continued their European campaign in Europa League, where they are among the main candidates for the trophy.

The 4-0 aggregate win over Trabzonspor in the first knockout stage certainly proved their title credentials and it gives the team reason for optimism ahead of the clash with AC Milan.

However, having failed to win any of their last three domestic matches on the road, Juventus clearly face a tough task at San Siro, as witnessed by odds of 2.10 (11/10) offered on away win.

For the first time after a while, Antonio Conte faces serious selection problems as Arturo Vidal is banned and Giorgio Chiellini and Kwadwo Asamoah are injury doubts.

Martin Caceres and Federico Peluso are ready to deputize if needed, whilst Mirko Vucinic and Simone Pepe are long-term casualties.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-2): Buffon – Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini – Lichtsteiner, Pogba, Pirlo, Marchisio, Asamoah – Llorente, Tevez.
