Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has announced his final 23-man squad for the upcoming Confederations Cup in Brazil.

Manchester City midfielder Javi Garcia and Real Betis star Benat Etxebarria have failed to make the final cut, even if Xabi Alonso had to withdraw due to a groin problem.

Valencia striker Roberto Soldado has kept his place in the side, just like Chelsea striker Fernando Torres, who is back to the international fold for the first time since October 2012.

Spain have been placed into easier of the two groups at the Confederations Cup, having been drawn alongside Uruguay, Nigeria and Tahiti.
