Borussia Dortmund enter the biggest derby of German football as league champions for the first time since 2001, but it is Bayern Munich who are considered favourites in this clash.

The Bavarians have done brilliantly under new boss Jupp Heynckes, with their amazing run of results at the start to the season helping them create a five-point cushion at the Bundesliga summit.

With 10 points from 4 group games, Bayern have virtually ensured the first place in their Champions League group, meaning they can now fully focus on keeping their title rivals in Germany at a safe distance.

After losing to Hannover, the Bavarians have won next four games in all competitions, and they are just 1.62 (8/13) with William Hill to make it five in a row.

Jupp Heynckes has been handed a major boost before the derby clash as Arjen Robben resumed full training on Tuesday, although the Dutchman will have to settle for a place on the bench.

Anatoliy Tymoschuk is suspended after picking up a red card in the dying moments of the Augsburg game, whereas Bastian Schweinsteiger remains sidelined.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Neuer – Rafinha, Van Buyten, Badstuber, Lahm – Gustavo, Alaba – Muller, Kroos, Ribery – Gomez.

After winning the Bundesliga title in style last season, Borussia Dortmund have found it increasingly hard to cope with the pressure of expectations at the start of new season.

Die Schwarzgelben largely struggled to cope with the busy schedule, but they have shown a massive improvement of late, so this game definitely comes at a perfect time for the visitors.

Jurgen Klopp’s side enter the game in good spirits after winning six of their last eight games in all competitions, and with Victor Chandler paying 6.00 (5/1) on away win, it looks as though the bookies have underestimated the reigning champions.

Maybe that has something to do with the fact that Borussia won just two out of six Bundesliga games on the travels this term.

Jurgen Klopp will not be able to count on Neven Subotic, whereas Marcel Schmelzer is a doubt after picking up an injury on international duty.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Weidenfeller – Piszczek, Hummels, Santana, Lowe – Bender, Gundogan – Gotze, Kagawa, Grosskreutz – Lewandowski.
