Swansea vs Kuban KrasnodarHaving won their first two group matches, Swansea can all but secure their place in the next stage by defeating Kuban Krasnodar at their Liberty Stadium.

Meanwhile, the visitors are extremely low on confidence as they are without points at the moment, while largely struggling on domestic stage as well.

After enjoying the most successful season in club’s history, the Swans were always going to have problems to live up to the billing this term.

The club management, nonetheless, did a brilliant job by keeping hold of star players Michu and Williams while making several excellent signings.

As a result, Swansea eased off into Europa League group stages before recording back to back victories over Valencia and St Gallen.

With the team recording a 4-0 triumph over Sunderland at the weekend, they look a good bet to see off Kuban at odds of 1.53 (8/15).

Michael Laudrup is unlikely to make wholesale changes to his side, while means the likes of Michu and Bony should prove a handful for the opposition defenders.

However, Ben Davies has joined Ashley Williams and Pablo Hernandez in the infirmary and he is set to miss next three or four weeks of action.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Tremmel – Tiendalli, Chico, Amat, Taylor – Britton, Canas – Pozuelo, Michu, Routledge – Bony.

Kuban Krasnodar impressed to finish the previous campaign in fifth place, mere two points behind third-placed Anzhi.

While preparing for their Europa League campaign, the club made some excellent signings such as Djibril Cisse, Lorenzo Melgarejo, Mohammed Rabiu and Gonzalo Bueno, and they in turn enjoyed a brilliant start to the season.

However, things started taking a turn for the worse shortly after Kuban eliminated Feyenoord in the Europa League play-offs, with Kazaki winning just one of last nine matches.

With the team clearly having a lot of potential, many believe the arrival of talented coach Viktor Goncharenko will help them turn things around, and the Swansea game will be a perfect opportunity to regain some of the lost confidence.

Given that Kuban already defeated Motherwell and Feyenoord away this term, you should know they are 9.00 (8/1) to triumph at Liberty Stadium.

Important midfielder Charles Kabore should be recalled after missing the weekend’s match with a fever, but Mohammed Rabiu is out with a thigh injury.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Belenov – Zhavnerchik, Xandao, Dealbert, Melgarejo – Tilsov, Kabore – Hubulov, Popov, Bucur – Cisse.
