Arsenal travel to relegated Queens Park Rangers in Saturday’s late kick off, looking for three points that would lift them to third place in the Premier League.

The host’s fate was confirmed last weekend following their goalless draw with Reading, in a result which also confirmed the Royals return to the Championship.

Harry Redknapp’s men have now gone six games without a win, and haven’t scored a goal since the 1-1 draw with Wigan Athletic four weeks ago.

Christopher Samba could return to the starting line-up after being left out a week ago, while Andros Townsend may also be recalled after recovering from a hamstring problem.

Loic Remy, who has been linked with a move to the Gunners, is 10.0 (9/1) to get the first goal of the game with Bet Victor, with Bobby Zamora a 15.0 (14/1) shot with the same firm.

QPR are understandably outsiders for the game, with William Hill offering 8.0 (7/1) for the home win, with Arsenal odds on at 1.44 (4/9) with a variety of firms. The draw is 5.0 (4/1) with Betfred.

The visitors go in to the game on good form, having won seven of their last ten games, a run which also includes last weekend’s 1-1 draw with champions Manchester United.

Victory would here would tighten their grip on a top four position, ahead of their final two games against Wigan Athletic and Newcastle United, who both, like QPR, sit in the bottom four of the division.

The Gunners will once again be without Olivier Giroud as he continues the suspension he collected at Fulham a fortnight ago, so Theo Walcott and Lukas Podolski are both pressing for a central attacking role.

Lukas Fabianski remains side-lined, so Wojciech Szczesney is set to continue in goal, while Abou Diaby is a long term absentee.

Top scorer Walcott is favourite to open the scoring at a widely available price of 5.5 (9/2), just ahead of Podolski who is a 6.0 (5/1) shot with a variety of firms.

The Gunners ran out 1-0 winners in the reverse fixture back in October, and with Queens Park Rangers so lacklustre in front of goal, you may be tempted to back another Arsenal win to nil at 2.55 (31/20) with Ladbrokes.
