Arsenal travel to Newcastle United in the final round of Premier League games on Sunday knowing that three points will secure qualification for the Champions League for a sixteenth successive season.

The hosts have won just two of their last ten league games, though they secured their Premier League status with victory at relegated Queens Park Rangers last time out.

Sylvain Marveaux and Check Tiote should both be fit in time to feature, whilst Steve Harper, who will move on in the summer after twenty years at St James’ Park, is set to start in goal.

Papiss Cisse is widely available at 9.0 (8/1) to open the scoring, whilst Hatem Ben Arfa is a 15.0 (14/1) shot with Bet Victor.

Alan Pardew’s men are 6.0 (5/1) with most firms to win the game, with Arsenal favourites at 1.57 (4/7) with Bet Victor, who offer 4.6 (18/5) for the draw.

Anything less than a win for the Gunners will leave the door open for North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur to sneak in and steal fourth place, should they beat Sunderland at White Hart Lane.

They go in to the game on the back of Tuesday’s 4-1 win over FA Cup winners Wigan Athletic; a result which extended their unbeaten run to nine league games.

Arsene Wenger could recall Olivier Giroud, who has missed the last three games through suspension while Jack Wilshere is expected to come in for Mikel Arteta, who is doubtful with a calf injury.

After thirteen games without a goal, Theo Walcott has now netted in his last three games, and the Gunners top scorer is favourite at 6.5 (11/2) with Bet Victor to get the first here, while Lukas Podolski is a 7.0 (6/1) shot with the same firm having bagged a brace last time out.

Newcastle have won just one of their last eleven games against Arsenal, and few will have forgotten the reverse fixture at the Emirates back in December which finished 7-3 to the hosts.

However, despite their fine form the Gunners have failed to score more than once in four of their last five games, so you may be tempted to back the modest one-nil away victory at 10.5 (19/2) with Bet Victor.
