Tuesday evening’s game at the Emirates Stadium sees Champions League hopeful’s Arsenal host relegation threatened Wigan Athletic, fresh from their FA Cup triumph at the weekend.

The Gunners were overtaken by North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur after they came from behind to beat Stoke City on Sunday afternoon, though wins here and at Newcastle United will see them secure a top four finish once again.

The win at Queens Park Rangers last time out stretched Arsenal’s unbeaten run in the league to eight games; winning six of those and conceding just four goals in the process.

Lukasz Fabianski could be recalled in goal after recovering from a rib injury, while Kieran Gibbs has also returned to fitness though Olivier Giroud is suspended.

Top scorer Theo Walcott has opened the scoring early on in each of his sides last two games, and is 6.0 (5/1) with 888 Sport to strike first this time around, while Santi Cazorla is a 7.5 (13/2) shot with a variety of firms.

The home win is best priced at 1.40 (2/5) with Bet Victor, with Wigan available at 9.0 (8/1) with William Hill. The draw is 5.5 (9/2) with Bet 365.

The visitors beat the odds at Wembley on Saturday evening, and they quite simply must do so once again if they are to avoid returning to the Championship after an eight year run in the top flight.

Roberto Martinez has no fresh injury worries, though Jean Beausejor may return after missing the final.

Bet Victor have Arouna Kone at 13.0 (12/1) to get the first goal of the game, while Saturday’s hero Ben Watson is generously priced at 29.0 (28/1) with the same firm.

Wigan have the joint leakiest defence in the division, while no team has scored more in front of their own fans than Arsenal so you could be forgiven for expecting more goals than the one that decided the reverse fixture back in December, when Mikel Arteta’s penalty on the hour mark separated the sides.

Bet Victor offer 2.2 (6/5) for there to be four or more goals in the game, whilst Coral offer 2.0 (1/1) for the hosts to score at least three themselves.
