Valencia vs BayernResurgent Valencia face a tricky task in their attempt to make it to Champions League quarter-finals, given that PSG go into this match on the back of a five-match winning run.

Los Che experienced all sorts of problems at the start of the season, as new boss Mauricio Pellegrino just couldn’t get to grips with his new job.

While team’s showings in La Liga were pretty disappointing, Valencia did well to progress from their Champions League group, missing out on the first place due to inferior goal difference.

Los Che have since returned to the right track in Spain, mostly thanks to the arrival of Ernesto Valverde, with away wins over La Coruna and Celta, as well as a home draw against Barcelona, acting as huge confidence boosts.

Even if they are now on the verge of returning to the top 4, Valencia are turning their attention towards their Champions League campaign and the match against Paris Saint-Germain.

Ladbrokes see the hosts as 2.40 (7/5) favourites to win, whereas they are 2.62 (13/8) to qualify at William Hill.

Joao Pereira returns to the side, but Aly Cissokho is doubtful after picking at an ankle injury at the weekend.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Alves – Pereira, Rami, R. Costa, Cissokho – Banega, Parejo – Feghouli, A. Costa, Jonas – Soldado.

In spite of the heavy summer recruitment, Paris Saint-Germain needed some time to hit the ground running and their showings at the start of the season left a lot to be desired.

However, while struggling on domestic stage, the Saints largely impressed in Europe, beating Porto and Dynamo Kiev to the first place in their Champions League group.

PSG have shown a considerable improvement since the start of December, ending the 2012 with five straight victories, before recording six wins and a draw in the New Year.

Even with some important players missing, the Saints are flying high at the moment and they will fancy their chances of winning at Mestalla.

Paris Saint-Germain are 3.30 (23/10) at BetVictor to win in Spain, whereas they are 1.60 (3/5) with Betfair to qualify for the next stage.

David Beckham and Siaka Tiene have both missed the cut, while Thiago Silva and Thiago Motta miss out through injury.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Sirigu – Jallet, Alex, Sakho, Maxwell – Verratti, Matuidi – Pastore, Lucas Moura, Lavezzi – Ibrahimovic.
