The European giants are fighting for the first place in Group H, with Milan needing a win in order to dislodge Barca from the top spot.

After winning the Serie A title in style last term, Milan struggled to meet the expectations at the start to the new season, although they managed to bring one point from their Champions League game with Barcelona.

The Rossoneri slowly kept raising their form and recorded several easy home wins, while losing only to Juventus.

Maxi Allegri’s side quickly recovered from the derby defeat and managed to get back to the Serie A title race, while ensuring their place in the Champions League knockout stages.

The Rossoneri ended their winning run in Serie A as they were held to goalless draw by Fiorentina, but it is important to note that Milan had dominated large periods of the game and had a goal incorrectly ruled out for offside.

Maxi Allegri’s side now need to prove their worth against one of the best European sides, and they are no less than 5.00 (4/1) with Unibet to claim maximum points.

Philippe Mexes is doubtful, whereas Antonio Cassano, Gennaro Gattuso and Mathieu Flaimini remain long-term casualties.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-1-2): Abbiati – Abat, Nesta, Thiago Silva, Antonini – Seedorf, Van Bommel, Aquilani – Boateng – Ibrahimovic, Robinho.

Barcelona remain the team to beat in the Champions League, but it looks as though they are no longer the rulers on domestic stage.

The Catalans currently sit three points behind Real Madrid in La Liga and that is certainly something that is putting an extra pressure on the side.

Pep Guardiola’s side have been pretty impressive in most of the games this season, but they have also recorded quite a few slip-ups for their standards, and that could end up costing them dearly at the end of the season.

Barcelona are, however, doing really well in Europe, as they are on the verge of clinching the first place in Group H, despite the opening draw against Milan.

The Catalans are now looking to get revenge on the Rossoneri, with bet365 paying 1.80 (4/5) on away win.

Andres Iniesta continues to miss out through injury, whereas Dani Alves is suspended. Ibrahim Afellay and Adriano remain sidelined.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Valdes – Puyol, Pique, Mascherano, Abidal – Fabregas, Busquets, Xavi – Pedro, Messi, Villa.
