Milan and Juventus are set to battle each other for a chance to enter the final stage of the league campaign from the top of the standings.

The Rossoneri had trailed Juventus from the very start to the season, but they never really gave up on the title race and have been subsequently rewarded for their efforts.

Maxi Allegri’s side climbed to the top of the standings with back to back away wins over Udinese and Cesena, and they are now one point clear of their title rivals, who have a game in hand.

Taking their amazing 4-0 Champions League victory over Arsenal into account, we can see that the Rossoneri are on top of their game at the moment, so it is no wonder they are 2.35 (27/20) with Betfair to win this game.

Milan were beaten by Juventus at San Siro in the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg and this will be an excellent opportunity to get revenge on the Old Lady.

Maxi Allegri welcomes back Alessandro Nesta, Philippe Mexes and Alexandre Pato, but Maxi Lopez remains a doubt.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic misses out through suspension, whereas Cassano, Aquilani, Gattuso, Merkel, Strasser, Seedorf and Boateng remain sidelined.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-1-2): Abbiati – Abate, Nesta, Thiago Silva, Mesbah – Nocerino, Van Bommel, Muntari – Emanuelson – Robinho, Maxi Lopez.

Juventus have done really well under Antonio Conte and the Old Lady spent most of the league campaign at the top of the standings.

Several unexpected slip-ups allowed Milan to climb to the Serie A summit, but the Bianconeri are still in a better position than their next opponents.

The absence of European football has helped the Old Lady a great deal this term, and with Milan expected to reach the final stages of the Champions League, Juventus have got to be considered favourites for the league title.

The Bianconeri are 1.91 (10/11) with Bodog to lift the coveted title, whereas they are 3.40 (12/5) with William Hill to win their second game at San Siro in just over two weeks.

Antonio Conte is likely to field his side in a 3-5-2 formation, with Pepe and Lichtsteiner set to operate on the flanks.

Luca Marrone misses out through injury, whereas Alessandro Matri is expected to partner Mirko Vucinic up front.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-2): Buffon – Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini – Lichtsteiner, Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio, Pepe – Matri, Vucinic.
