Inter vs NapoliThe Serie A title race may be effectively over by the time Napoli host Inter at Stadio San Paolo, but the Azzurri, nonetheless, want to end the campaign on a high and pick up as many points as possible from the remaining four games.

Their opponents are going through the worst injury crisis in years, but lose this match and they will be out of the race for European places.

Being one of the most famous clubs in Italy, Napoli clearly deserve to be vying for the Serie A title, but it took them a lot of time and effort to come this far.

The Azzurri may not been able to keep up with amazing Juventus side, but winning the second place when the competition is so fierce has got to be considered a good result.

Napoli are seven points clear of third-placed Milan at the moment, but they cannot afford to relax just yet as their rivals for the second place have an extremely easy fixture list in the remainder of the campaign.

Having won five of last six league matches, Walter Mazzarri’s side are just 1.44 (4/9) at Coral to see off Inter and cement the second place in the standings.

With Edinson Cavani returning to the side from suspension, the Azzurri will be even more dangerous up front, and the Uruguayan is 3.50 (5/2) at Paddy Power to open the scoring.

Valon Behrami also returns after he was banned for the Pescara game, while Hugo Campagnaro faces a fitness test.

Probable starting line-up (3-4-1-2): De Sanctis – Gamberini, Cannavaro, Britos – Maggio, Behrami, Dzemaili, Zuniga – Hamsik – Cavani, Pandev.

Injury-hit Inter arrive at Stadio San Paolo looking for a victory that would keep their European dream alive, but everybody at the club is aware that is going to be a very difficult task.

The Nerazzurri seriously damaged their European hopes by losing three of last four league fixtures, but it is not as if they could have done much better given the number of players currently on the sidelines.

Serious injury to captain Javier Zanetti was a heavy blow at a crucial stage of the season, but with several other players returning to the side, Inter are not without chances in this match.

Having won three of last six matches on the travels, Andrea Stramaccioni’s side are 8.50 (15/2) with Stan James to upset Napoli and bring all three points to Giuseppe Meazza.

There have been some good news for the talented manager as Antonio Cassano, Fredy Guarin and Esteban Cambiasso resumed training this week, but the infirmary is still quite packed at the moment.

Diego Milito, Rodrigo Palacio, Dejan Stankovic, Yuto Nagatomo, Walter Samuel and Walter Gargano are just some of the players currently unavailable.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-1-1): Handanovic – Ranocchia, Chivu, Juan Jesus – Jonathan, Cambiasso, Kovacic, Guarin, Pereira – Alvarez – Rocchi.
