Milan will be hoping to build on their Champions League victory over Anderlecht when they play host to Serie A leaders Juventus, a team that continue to impress on both domestic and European stage.

Given they are no less than 17 points adrift of their next opponents, the Rossoneri have clearly committed a series of mistakes in the opening exchanges, but they are still not giving up on a top 3 finish.

The reality is that Max Allegri has a high-quality squad at his disposal that are bound to come good in the foreseeable future.

Players’ confidence has been significantly improved after the decent comeback against Napoli was followed by Champions League triumph in Brussels, which saw the Rossoneri virtually secure their place in the next stage.

Milan now hope to return to winning ways in Serie A as well, with 888sport paying 3.50 (5/2) on home win.

Having done brilliantly to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic, scoring 10 goals in 13 Serie A games, Stephan El Shaarawy is 3.10 (21/10) with Paddy Power to score in his fourth successive game for club and country.

Philippe Mexes is expected to start after recovering from a knee problem, but Alexandre Pato joins the lengthy injury list that already contained the likes of Strasser, Vila, Mesbah, Muntari, Abate and Bonera.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Abbiati – De Sciglio, Yepes, Mexes, Constant – Montolivo, De Jong, Nocerino – Boateng, Bojan, El Shaarawy.

Having made a giant step towards the Champions League knockout stages with an impressive victory over Chelsea, Juventus can now fully focus on their league campaign.

Not that the Bianconeri had any problems in Serie A in the early exchanges, as they already boast a four-point cushion at the top of the standings.

However, with Inter, Fiorentina and Napoli all looking to close the gap behind the leaders, Juventus will probably have to win at San Siro in order to remain at a safe distance from their title rivals.

Considering team’s recent showings, we see a good value in odds of 2.30 (13/10) offered at Coral on away win.

Paddy Power currently have Juventus at 1.40 (2/5) to win the Serie A title, which looks a very good market given that none of their title rivals appear capable of dislodging the Old Lady from the top of the standings.

Maurizio Isla is set to return to the starting line-up, while Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci should both start despite missing some training during the week.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-2): Buffon – Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini – Isla, Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio, Asamoah – Vucinic, Quagliarella.
