Fourth-placed Lazio could make a giant step towards a top 3 finish with three points from this match, whereas Inter need to triumph at Olimpico if they are to remain in the title race.

Having played some great football this season, the Biancocelesti clearly deserve to be so high in the Serie A standings.

New boss Vladimir Petkovic successfully found the right balance between team’s domestic and European campaigns, which seems to be the main reason for their impressive results.

Lazio have been absolutely amazing since the embarrassing 4-0 defeat to Catania, winning five games and sharing spoils with Juventus, Tottenham and Bologna.

Considering the excellent run of results, it is no wonder the Biancocelesti are 2.50 (3/2) favourites with BetVictor to win this match.

Alternatively, you can back Lazio to achieve a top 3 finish, with bet365 paying no less than 6.00 (5/1) if they end the season in Champions League places.

Luis Cavanda and Libor Kozak are both suspended, but the most important thing is Miroslav Klose returns to the starting line-up.

Christian Brocchi and Andre Dias are nearing their return from injury, but Tommaso Rocchi and Ederson are definitely out.

Probable starting line-up (4-1-4-1): Marchetti – Konko, Biava, Ciani, Radu – Ledesma – Candreva, Gonzalez, Hernanes, Mauri – Klose.

Taking into account numerous changes to the playing squad and inexperience of coach Andrea Stramaccioni, Inter were predicted a very difficult season, but the Neroazzurri have exceeded all expectations.

While the back-up players did well to ensure progress into the Europa League knockout stages, the first team largely impressed in Serie A, climbing to second place in the overall standings.

The most important thing here is that Andrea Stramaccioni’s side have proved their worth in derby games, beating Fiorentina, Milan, Juventus and Napoli, while only losing to Roma.

With that in mind, there may be some value in backing Inter to win at Olimpico, at odds of 3.00 (2/1) offered at Paddy Power.

As Walter Samuel is back to the side, Esteban Cambiasso should return to the centre of the park, with Alvaro Pereira likely to be dropped.

Ricky Alvarez, Joel Obi, Dejan Stankovic, Gabi Mudingayi and Cristian Chivu all remain in the infirmary.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-2): Handanovic – Ranocchia, Samuel, Juan Jesus – Zanetti, Guarin, Gargano, Cambiasso, Nagatomo – Milito, Cassano.
