Serie A leaders Juventus should have an easy job at the start of their Coppa Italia campaign, although Cagliari will attempt to achieve a good result in Turin that would help them get their league campaign back on track.

This season is proving to be a major success for the Bianconeri, with Antonio Conte’s side doing extremely well on all fronts.

While the talented coach was serving his touchline ban, Juventus created a four-point cushion at the Serie A summit, while ensuring the first place in what was a very difficult Champions League group.

Conte finally returned to the dugout as his side recorded a hard-fought win over Palermo at Renzo Barbera and he will want the Old Lady to continue in the same manner.

Even if the boss is expected to rest some of his starters, Juventus are 1.33 (1/3) favourites with Stan James to see off Cagliari.

Nicklas Bendtner should finally get a chance to shine, with the Danish striker 2.10 (11/10) with BetVictor to score at anytime.

Maurizio Isla, Simone Pepe, Martin Caceres, Luca Marrone and Lucio all miss out through injury, while a number of first team regulars will be rested.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-2): Storari – Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini – Padoin, Vidal, Pogba, Giaccherini, De Ceglie – Bendtner, Matri.

Cagliari had a very poor start to the season, but the run of four straight victories in October saw the team move away from the danger zone.

However, the impressive run was short-lived as the Isolani went on to pick up just 2 points from next 6 league games.

Being just two points clear of the bottom three, there is every chance that Cagliari will sacrifice this match in order to properly prepare for the Serie A clash against Parma.

Considering the circumstances, backing Juventus to win to nil at odds of 2.00 (1/1) offered at Coral looks the right thing to do.

Given they are suspended for the Parma game, Daniele Dessena and Albin Ekdal should start, but most of the other first team regulars will be rested.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-1-2): Avramov – Perico, Rossettini, Del Fabro, Murru – Dessena, Eriksson, Ekdal – Ceppelini – Ibarbo, Thiago Ribeiro.
