Brazil vs ColombiaThe game between hosts United States and South American giants Colombia will serve as an opener to the 2016 Copa America finals.

And with other two sides in their group not exactly easy to beat, both sides will want to enjoy a winning start to the showpiece tournament.

The USMNT have indeed showed plenty of progress under Jurgen Klinsmann and the 2014 World Cup was the first major competition after quite a while where USA were able to match the top sides.

United States did really well to progress from the toughest group before they were eliminated by Belgium on extra time.

The team have had mixed success since as Jurgen Klinsmann couldn’t decide whether to stick with the old guns or introduce new players, but he appears to have hit the nail on the head with his Copa America roster.

The coach appears to have made the correct mix between youth and experience, and the switch to 4-3-3 formation seems to have gotten the best out of his players.

As a result, the USMNT won all three warm-up games and are now available at 2.80 (9/5) to defeat Colombia as well in their opening fixture.

There have been no reported injuries in the USA camp, although Jozy Altidore had failed to make the squad due to injury.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Guzan – Yedlin, Cameron, Brooks, Johnson – Bedoya, Bradley, Jones – Zardes, Dempsey, Wood.

Colombia have recently emerged as one of the leading sides in South America and they showed a great deal of promise at the 2014 World Cup and 2015 Copa America.

Los Cafeteros were eventually eliminated by giants Brazil and Argentina respectively, but they will be hoping to go one step further this time out.

Head coach Jose Pekerman has seriously rejuvenated his squad of late, with the likes of Radamel Falcao, Fredy Guarin, Camilo Zuniga and Pablo Armero no longer in the mix.

Marlos Moreno, Edwin Cardona and Roger Martinez are some of the new guns that will be taking part at the 2016 Copa America Centenario.

Jackson Martinez and Teo Gutierrez hadn’t even made the provisional squad, while Luis Muriel, Adrian Ramos and Eder Balanta did not survive the cut.

Experienced defender Oscar Murillo has withdrawn from the final squad, with Palmeiras new signing Yerry Mina called as replacement.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-2-2): Ospina – Arias, Zapata, Murillo, Diaz – Cardona, D. Torres – Cuadrado, Rodriguez – Bacca, Moreno.
