Turkey squadTurkey manager Fatih Terim believes his side have a good chance of making it to the play-offs following the 2-0 away victory over Estonia.

Ay Yildizlilar returned to the second place in the standings thanks to away triumphs over Romania and Estonia, but they now also have to defeat leaders Netherlands in order to secure a place in the play-offs.

Turkey currently sit tied on points with Romania, but have a superior goal difference, meaning that any win over Oranje is likely to guarantee them a second place in the standings.

“We now have a good chance of qualification and are hopeful,” Turkey boss Fatih Terim said after the Estonia game.

The hosts clearly face an uphill task on Tuesday as they haven’t beaten their next opponents since 1998, while Netherlands arrive in Istanbul on the back of an 8-1 triumph over Hungary.

Even so, Turkey’s huge motivation could easily prove to be the difference, with home win paying 2.45 (29/20) at Sportingbet.

Fatih Terim has no fresh injury worries at the moment, but midfielder Caner Erkin, who was used as a left-back against Estonia, misses out through suspension.
