Toulouse vs PSG preview

PSG vs TFCToulouse hope to get revenge on the Saints for the 3-1 defeat in Coupe de France, as well as extend their unbeaten run in the league to five matches.

PSG, on the other hand, are eager to remain at the top of the standings and put extra pressure on their title rivals by winning at Stade Municipal.

Alain Casanova’s men could have problems concentrating on their league clash against Paris Saint-Germain, given the transfer speculation surrounding their key players.

After Moussa Sissoko secured a move to Newcastle, Etienne Capoue and Cheikh M’Bengue are both tipped with January exit.

On the other hand, Adil Hermach and Adrien Rabiot are set to arrive at Stade Municipal, but the duo is unlikely to be in contention for this match.

Following a dismal start to the league campaign, le Tefece have shown a considerable improvement and the good news is they are just four points adrift of European places.

It is for that reason that the hosts need to try and win this game, with home win paying 5.20 (21/5) at BetVictor.

Key defender Aymen Abdennour is away on international duty, while Jonathan Zebina and Adrien Regattin are sidelined through injury.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Ahamada – Aurier, Ninkov, Yago, M’bengue – Didot, Capoue, Sirieix – Djalo, Ben Yedder, Tabanou.

Despite the heavy summer spending, Paris Saint-Germain largely struggled to prove their worth in the opening exchanges, but the Saints have finally returned to the right track.

Since the 2-1 defeat at Nice, PSG have won nine and drawn one of their next ten matches in all competitions, but they were not able to break away from their title rivals at the Ligue 1 summit.

Despite beating Bordeaux and Lille in their last two league fixtures, the Saints are still tied on points with second-placed Lyon, meaning they have no choice but to try and win at Stade Municipal.

That will be no easy task, but odds of 1.88 (8/9) offered at 188BET on away win do suggest PSG are the favourites here.

The visitors will be without Moussa Sissoko, who is set to complete a switch to Fiorentina, while Siaka Tiene is away on international duty.

Thiago Silva, Kevin Gameiro and Zoumana Camara have resumed full training, but Matthieu Bodmer is doubtful and Alex is out injured.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Sirigu – Jallet, Thiago Silva, Sakho, Maxwell – Verratti, Matuidi – Menez, Lucas Moura, Lavezzi – Ibrahimovic.
