Rubin vs CSKARubin Kazan will be looking to build on yet another Europa League victory when they take on reigning champions CSKA Moscow and the team that have enjoyed a bright start to the league campaign.

Kurban Berdyev’s side didn’t really impress last term, but they did enough to ensure another season of European football.

Despite starting the Europa League campaign from the second qualifying round, Rubin took the competition very seriously and were in turn awarded for such an approach.

Three straight victories saw them come on the verge of the play-offs, but now it’s time to shift their focus to the Russian Premier League.

The team have so far been pretty convincing on domestic stage, sharing spoils with Kuban Krasnodar and Terek Grozny away, while defeating title contenders Zenit at home.

With Rubin yet to lose a competitive match this season, bear in mind home win pays no less than 2.90 (19/10) at Ladbrokes.

There are no fresh injury worries for Kurban Berdyev, but Sergei Ryzhikov, Oleg Kuzmin and Bibras Natcho will be recalled after they were rested in midweek.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Ryzhikov – Kuzmin, Navas, Marcano, Ansaldi – M’Vila, Natcho – Torbinski, Karadeniz, Ryazantsev – Rondon.

Having restored domestic dominance by winning the Russian Premier League title last term, CSKA Moscow go into the new season with big ambitions.

The Army Men have stayed without key attacker Vagner Love, but they signed two very good players in Steven Zuber and Georgi Milanov, and they have managed to hit the ground running early on.

Even with some important players out on the sidelines, Leonid Slutsky’s side hammered Zenit 3-0 in the Russian Super Cup match, although they did fail to beat Ural in their opening game.

CSKA, nonetheless, returned to the right track against Krylya Sovetov before winning the local derby against Lokomotiv last weekend.

Seeing as how the team are brimming with confidence before the trip to Kazan, you should know away win pays 2.55 (31/20) at 888sport.

Important winger Zoran Tosic has returned into action following a lengthy spell on the sidelines, but Aleksandrs Cauna and Georgi Milanov are not yet ready to return. Aleksey Berezutski and Georgi Schennikov miss out through injury and suspension respectively.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Akinfeev – Nababkin, Ignashevich, V. Berezutski, Gonzalez – Elm, Wernbloom – Zuber, Honda, Dzagoev – Musa.
