The Spanish giants will meet for the second time in just few days, this time in Copa del Rey final at Mestalla. The 1:1 draw at Santiago Bernabeu saw Barcelona virtually clinch the La Liga title, and they can now put their hands on the second trophy this season.

The Catalans did a great job at the Bernabeu last weekend as not only did they keep the eight-point advantage over Real, but managed to record a good result without wasting too much energy.

This will be a completely different match since both sides will give their best to win the coveted trophy, with Pep Guardiola likely to make some changes to the team that started the Real game last weekend.

Back-up keeper Jose Manuel Pinto is expected to start in goal after starting every single Copa del Rey game this season, while Carles Puyol is likely to make the starting line-up after recovering from injury.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Pinto – Alves, Puyol, Pique, Adriano – Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta – Pedro, Messi, Villa.

Real Madrid may have lost the title with the 1:1 draw at the Bernabeu, but los Blancos showed a massive improvement from the 5:0 drubbing at Camp Nou with the good performance against Barcelona likely to serve as a major confidence boost before the Copa del Rey final.

The mere fact that Real managed to score with ten men on the pitch, albeit from a gifted penalty, proves that los Merengues have progressed a great deal this season and they definitely have the quality to get something from this game.

Jose Mourinho is unlikely to make big changes to the side that faced Barca in La Liga, which means that Pepe will continue as a holding midfielder after an impressive performance in the first match.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-2-1): Casillas – Arbeloa, Ramos, Carvalho, Marcelo – Pepe, Alonso, Khedira – Di Maria, Ozil – Ronaldo.

Barcelona are 1.91 (10/11) with Paddy Power to win the match in regular time, whereas Real are no less than 4.20 (16/5) with Victor Chandler to beat Barca at Mestalla.

Victor Chandler also offers the best prices on the anytime goalscorer market, so Messi is 2.05 (21/20) to score, while Ronaldo is 2.38 (11/8) to do the same. Taking into account that both players scored in the last clash between the teams, the odds look too good to pass.
