Catania will be happy to return to their Massimino after suffering 3:0 defeat in Genoa, whereas Juventus need to try and make amends for the slip up against Bologna.

Catania managed to establish themselves as genuine top table side soon after gaining promotion to the top flight, with their impressive home performances the main reason for this uptrend in fortunes.

The Elephants entered the new season with somewhat changed squad, so the opening draw against Siena can be attributed to the fact that new signings hadn’t had enough time to gel.

Vincenzo Montella’s side showed some improvement to beat Cesena, but the 3:0 defeat in Genoa proved that Catania still suffer from a travel sickness.

The Elephants now need to prove their worth against very good Juventus side, with Ladbrokes paying 1.86 (43/50) on Catania not to lose.

Cristian Llama and Nicola Legrottaglie are out through injury, while Montella is likely to make some changes to the side that lost to Genoa.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Andujar – Potenza, Bellusci, Spolli, Alvarez – Sciacca, Lodi, Ricchiuti – Gomez, Maxi Lopez, Lanzafame.

Expectations are high in Turin following some very good dealings in the transfer window and the opening of the new stadium, so this is already looking like a breakthrough season for Juventus.

The Bianconeri wasted no time in displaying their title credentials, having won their first two games against Parma and Siena, but it was not long before they made their first slip up.

Juventus looked to be in control of their home game against Bologna after Mirko Vucinic had scored the opening goal, but the same player was sent off just before the half-time break, allowing Bologna to level the score and win a valuable point.

Despite the slip up, the Bianconeri are still better placed than their title rivals, meaning that a win at Massimino would make everyone forget all about the Bologna game. Juve are 2.05 (21/20) with 188BET to beat Catania.

Mirko Vucinic is suspended after seeing red against Bologna, with Alessandro Matri likely to replace him in the starting line-up, while Elia, Quagliarella and Vidal are also pushing for starting places.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-2): Buffon – Lichtsteiner, Barzagli, Chiellini, De Ceglie – Krasic, Marchisio, Pirlo, Pepe – Matri, Del Piero.
