Dortmund vs GladbachBorussia M’gladbach are searching for fourth consecutive Bundesliga victory and a chance to cement the final automatic Champions League berth.

Borussia Dortmund, on the other hand, aim to keep their European hopes alive by defeating die Fohlen, so chances are we will see a great game of football on Saturday afternoon.

It took Borussia M’gladbach a couple of years to become one of Bundesliga’s top sides, but having successfully made the transition, die Fohlen appear to be here to stay.

Up until just few days ago, this could have been dubbed their most successive season yet as die Fohlen had cemented the third place in the league standings and had a brilliant chance to qualify for the DFB Pokal semis.

However, die Fohlen were surprisingly eliminated on penalties by third division side Armenia Bielefeld, although it is important to note that was team’s first under-par result in quite a while.

And having defeated Hannover, Bayern Munich and Hoffenheim in their previous three Bundesliga fixtures, Lucien Favre’s charges can be backed at 3.10 (21/10) to see off Dortmund as well.

The hosts will have to make do without important midfielder Christoph Kramer, who is suspended after getting his fifth yellow card of the campaign.

Havard Nordtveit will deputize for the Germany starlet, whilst Raffael will be recalled with Andre Hahn making way.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Sommer – Jantschke, Brouwers, Dominguez, Wendt – Xhaka, Nordtveit – Herrmann, Raffael, Hazard – Kruse.

This has been without a doubt the most difficult season for Borussia Dortmund in recent years, but at least BVB no longer have to worry about getting relegated.

The Millionaires notched up several good results in a row to revive their European hopes, although the home loss to bitter rivals Bayern Munich set them back quite a bit.

Borussia did earn another clash with the Bavarians as they secured their place in the DFB Pokal semis thanks to an extra time goal from captain Sebastian Kehl, but they are now set for another difficult match against high-flying Gladbach.

The good news is the Millionaires have taken ten points from last four league matches on the road, so bear in mind that away win pays 2.50 (3/2).

Jurgen Klopp is sweating over the fitness of Marco Reus (groin), Mats Hummels (thigh) and Sven Bender (dead leg), but at least two of them should start.

Meanwhile, Roman Weidenfeller will be recalled to the side and Lukasz Piszczek and Nuri Sahin continue to miss out.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Weidenfeller – Durm, Subotic, Hummels, Schmelzer – Kehl, Gundogan – Blaszczykowski, Kagawa, Reus – Aubameyang.
