Bayern Munich have long ago lost all chances to fight for the Bundesliga title, but the Bavarians can do a big favour to fierce rivals Borussia Dortmund by beating Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday.

This will be the first match for new boss Andries Jonker, who replaced Louis van Gaal, and he has already announced some changes to the starting line-up.

Youngster Thomas Kraft will be relegated to the bench despite the good run in the first team, with veteran Hans Jorg Butt set to start between the sticks.

Bastian Schweinsteiger is a major doubt after picking up an injury in training, while Franck Ribery is doubtful with a thigh problem.

Arjen Robben and Holger Badstuber miss out through suspension, meaning that the hosts will be without several important players in this match.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Butt – Lahm, Van Buyten, Breno, Pranjic – Gustavo, Tymoschtschuk – Muller, Kroos, Ribery – Gomez.

Bayer Leverkusen have produced quite a coup by closing the gap behind leaders Borussia Dortmund to just 5 points and they are now 9.00 (8/1) with Victor Chandler to win the Bundesliga title.

Bayer enter this derby game high on confidence, having won last five league games, with coach Jupp Heynckes looking to prove their future employers they haven’t made a mistake in choosing him to take over the reigns next season.

The visitors have received a major boost after finding out that Renato Augusto and Rene Adler will be fit to play, while it is important to note that Bayer will have the support of 5,200 traveling fans.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Adler – Balitsch, Schwaab, Reinartz, Castro – Vidal, Rolfes – Renato, Ballack, Sam – Kiessling.

Bayern are priced at 2.00 (1/1) with William Hill to emerge triumphant, whereas Leverkusen are 4.00 (3/1) at 888Sport to record the sixth league win in a row.
