Former Tottenham Hotspur forward Peter Crouch says that Spurs have a ‘good chance’ of winning the Premier League this season.
Jose Mourinho’s men have enjoyed an exhilarating start to the 2020/21 campaign, sitting fifth and having scored the most goals in the opening six matches with 16.
Despite the current early stage of the campaign, the season has already produced a few unpredictable results, including Spurs’ 6-1 thumping of Manchester United at Old Trafford, and that is one of the main reasons as to why Crouch believes Tottenham could finally taste glory.
He said: “It is a crazy league and it feels like anyone can beat anyone at the moment.
“I would say City and Liverpool aren’t as strong as they were and other teams have got stronger. It is definitely something to do with fans not being in the ground, which is causing some strange results and lots of goals.
“The league is up for grabs. Can Tottenham win it? I’m not sure but I think they’ve got as good a chance as anyone.”
The North Londoners can currently be backed at a price of 7/1 with Betfair to win the Premier League title this season ahead of their home clash with Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.
