Kevin NolanWest Ham midfielder Kevin Nolan hopes the Hammers can take advantage of Arsenal’s problems and record a very important victory on Boxing Day.

The experienced footballer returns to the side after serving a three-match ban and he is looking to help the team end a four-match winless run in the league.

West Ham are as much as 6.00 (5/1) to claim maximum points, but Nolan believes it is Arsenal that will be under pressure when the two sides meet on Thursday.

“We’re just hoping that when it comes round they might be a bit fatigued, they’ve played a lot of games and with us being at home there’s not much pressure on us”, Nolan said to club’s official website.

“Hopefully the fans will get behind us and we can cause an upset, which we all firmly believe we can.”

West Ham have only won one of their last seven league matches at Boleyn Ground, having defeated Fulham, while losing to Stoke, Everton, Manchester City and Chelsea.

And with Arsenal unbeaten in last 11 matches against the Hammers, there could be value in betting on away win, available at 1.67 (2/3).
