Following the impressive run of results Liverpool are now hot favourites for the fifth place in the standings, whereas Tottenham don’t look too keen on Europa League qualification after they dropped out of the top 4 race.

Kenny Dalglish has just signed a new long-term deal with Liverpool, which is a just reward for his achievements at Anfield this season.

Under the command of King Kenny the Reds moved from the brink of the relegation zone to 5th place in the standings and they are now set to clinch another Europa League berth.

Liverpool continued the rich vein of form by beating Fulham at Craven Cottage and having scored 13 goals in last 3 games, the Reds are 1.80 (4/5) with Sportingbet to score at least two goals against Tottenham.

Andy Carrol should make the bench after recovering from a knee injury, while Raul Meireles will be fit to play after shaking off a minor knock.

Danny Agger, Steven Gerrard, Fabio Aurelio, Martin Kelly and Milan Jovanovic remain sidelined.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-2): Reina – Flanagan, Skrtel, Carragher, Johnson – Maxi Rodriguez, Lucas, Spearing, Meireles – Suarez, Kuyt.

Entering this match on the back of the six-match winless run, Tottenham clearly don’t have much to hope for at the moment, especially if we take into account their injury situation.

Spurs have been playing below all standards ever since they lost all chances to finish in top 4, but they are unlikely to be too downhearted by the latest results after Harry Redknapp said that he was not interested in playing in Europa League again.

After losing to Manchester City at the weekend, everything suggests Spurs will record second successive defeat, with home win paying 1.80 (4/5) at Bodog.

Harry Redknapp faces a real selection headache, with Gallas, Bale, Assou-Ekotto, Hutton and Jenas all sidelined.

Heurelho Gomes, Luka Modric, Tom Huddlestone and Wilson Palacios are all very doubtful, but Ledley King could play some part.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-1-1): Cudicini – Corluka, Dawson, Kaboul, Rose – Lennon, Sandro, Modric, Pienaar – van der Vaart, Defoe.
