Dimitar-Berbatov3-1

Arsenal will have the chance to tighten their grip on a top four place when they take on tenth place Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts 1-1 draw with Aston Villa last weekend moved them on to forty points, all but assuring them of Premier League football next season, though they go in to the game on the back of their 3-0 home defeat to Chelsea on Wednesday evening.

Steve Sidwell is available to face the club where he began his career after completing a three-match ban.

However, Sascha Riether is doubtful and could join Damien Duff, Ashkan Dejagah and Mahamadou Diarra on the side-lines, while Emmanuel Frimpong is ineligible to face his parent club.

Top scorer Dimitar Berbatov is 9.0 (8/1) with Bet Victor to open the scoring, while Bryan Ruiz is 11.0 (10/1) with the same firm.

Fulham are widely available at 5.0 (4/1) to win the game, with Arsenal a 1.8 (4/5) shot with Paddy Power. The draw is 4.0 (3/1) with Bet 365.

With no one else in the top five in action until later in the weekend, the Gunners have the chance to move five points clear of fifth place Tottenham Hotspur who face Manchester City on Sunday, and also leap frog Chelsea who travel to Liverpool later that day.

Arsene Wenger has an almost fully fit squad at his disposal, with Abou Diaby the only long term absentee, though the game may come just too soon for Lukasz Fabianski, so Wojciech Szczesny is set to continue in goal following his clean sheet midweek.

Olivier Giroud is favourite to get the first goal of the game with Bet Victor offering a price of 7.0 (6/1), while top scorer Theo Walcott, who hasn’t scored since the 2-2 draw with Liverpool at the end of January, is a 7.5 (13/2) shot with the same firm.

Giroud and Berbatov both scored two each when the sides played out a thrilling 3-3 draw in the reverse fixture back at the Emirates in November.

It was the third time in the last four meetings that the game has finished in a score draw, so you may be tempted to back the 1-1 score-line at 8.5 (15/2) with Bet Victor.
