Champions Manchester United host Chelsea on Sunday, with Rafael Benitez’s side desperate for three points that would tighten their grip on a top four place.

The hosts go into the game on the back of their 1-1 draw with Arsenal last weekend; a result which ended their hopes of surpassing Chelsea’s record points tally of 95.

Nevertheless, they are still on course for a club record total, which currently stands at the 92 they achieved in the 1993/94 season.

Paul Scholes, who looks set to announce his retirement at the end of the season, has not featured since the 4-1 win over Fulham in the FA Cup fourth round back in January, and could well make his farewell appearance at the weekend.

Danny Welbeck misses out with a knee injury, though Nemanja Vidic could return to the back line.

Top scorer Robin Van Persie is favourite to open the scoring with what would be his thirtieth goal of the season at 5.5 (9/2) with Bet Victor, while Scholes himself is perhaps worth considering at a generous 21.0 (20/1) from Ladbrokes.

The home victory is widely available at 2.2 (6/5), while Chelsea are a 3.5 (5/2) shot with Bet 365. The draw is 3.6 (13/5) with Bet Victor.

The visitors, who on Thursday booked their place in the Europa League final after a 5-2 aggregate win over FC Basel, and are in pole position to secure a Champions League place ahead of London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Premier League manager of the month Rafael Benitez could recall Ashley Cole after the left back was suspended for the win over the Swiss Champions, whilst Demba Ba could also return.

Top scorer Fernando Torres is 10.0 (9/1) to get the first goal of the game, with Frank Lampard, who will become the joint all-time scorer for the Blues with his next strike a 12.0 (11/1) chance with Bet Victor.

There has been nineteen goals in the four meetings between the sides this season, including the FA Cup tie that went to a replay, and Chelsea’s 5-4 win after extra time in the League Cup.

With this in mind, you may want to take advantage of the 2.9 (19/10) on offer from Sporting Bet for there to be four or more scored this time around.
