Fabio Borini vows to come good

Liverpool striker Fabio Borini is adamant he can start scoring goals on regular basis for the Merseyside club.

The Italian has netted just once in his first 10 appearances for the club and he has yet to score a goal in the Premier League.

The 21-year-old has had a pretty disappointing start to his career at Anfield and it appears that he is no longer part of the starting line-up.

Borini is, nevertheless, convinced he can turn things around and finally start scoring goals on regular basis.

“With the Premier League goal, it is just a matter of time. As a striker, if you get into the right positions and you keep getting there, they will come,” Borini said.

“At Liverpool the expectations are always high because it is a top club and it has to be this way.

“If I have come here, it is because I also have big expectations – that is why I chose this club.”

Borini looks set to start tonight’s Europa League clash against Udinese and is 3.20 (11/5) with 888sport to net against the Zebrette, while the Italian is 11.00 (10/1) with BetVictor to be Liverpool’s top league goalscorer.
