Premier League outfit Everton have announced the signing of Argentine defender Ramiro Funes Mori on their official website.
The deal has been in the works for several weeks now and it has finally been completed, with the Toffees reportedly paying £9.5 million.
Ramiro Funes Mori, who has recently made his debut for Argentina, signed a five-year deal after successfully passing a medical at Merseyside.
“When I heard about Everton’s interest, I didn’t think twice,” Funes Mori said. “I’m going to give it 100% every time I go out there to play.”
“Everton did everything to bring me over and I wanted to come. They have a lot of good players, so I’m very happy to be here.”
The Toffees will be hoping to add few more signings before today’s 6pm deadline, and they are currently priced at 1.57 (4/7) for a top 10 finish in the Premier League.
