Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen is reportedly open to the idea of joining Bayern Munich, according to reports.

According to Sport1, the German giants are interested in swooping for the Danish midfielder’s signature, a prospect that has tempted the 27-year-old.

Eriksen is out of contract at the end of the season and could leave North London on a free transfer in the summer. He is also eligible to sign a pre-contract agreement with any foreign club come the January transfer window.

There has been previous reports that the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United were vying for his services and too could make moves in the upcoming transfer window.

Since moving to Tottenham Hotspur in 2013, the Danish international has become a key player under Mauricio Pochettino. Making 288 appearances in all competitions for the club, he has scored 67 goals and provided a further 87 assists.

He has been in and out of the starting line-up so far this season having only made six starts in all competitions throughout the early stages of the 2019/20 campaign.

Eriksen will hope to get his and Tottenham’s season back on track next weekend as they host Watford in the Premier League. Spurs can be backed at 2/5 with Paddy Power to win only their fourth league game of the season against the Hornets.
