Sunday afternoons game at Stamford Bridge sees Premier league leaders Chelsea host a Manchester United side who will be hoping to close the gap between themselves and the European Champions.

The home side are yet to taste defeat domestically this term, but go in to the game on the back of their 2-1 defeat by Ukrainian champions Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Tuesday; a late strike from Brazilian midfielder Oscar no more than a consolation for the holders.

Roberto Di Matteo will be without Frank Lampard, who suffered calf injury midweek, and John Terry who continues his suspension.

Spanish midfielder Juan Mata, who has four goals in his last four league games, is priced at 4.33 (10/3) with William Hill to be on the score-sheet once again, and 10.0 (9/1) with the same firm to get the first goal of the game.

Chelsea, who are the only side in the Premier League to boast a 100 per cent home record, are favourites for the win; Bet Victor offering the best price of 2.45 (29/20) while you can get odds of 3.13 (11/5) for the away win with the same firm. The draw is around the 3.4 (12/5) mark across the board.

Manchester United are just four points behind Chelsea, and go in to the game on the back of four straight victories in all competitions; the latest of which coming against SC Braga at Old Trafford Tuesday.

United had been two goals down, but a brace from Javier Hernandez either side of a Johnny Evans goal gave Sir Alex Ferguson’s side the three points.

Shinji Kagawa, who will be out of action for up to four weeks with a knee problem, joins Phil Jones and Anders Lindegaard on the sidelines, though defender Chris Smalling is back in training.

Top scorer Robin Van Perise is the 7.5 (13/2) favourite with Bet Victor to open the scoring, while Hernandez, who may feature after his impressive performance midweek is a 11.0 (10/1) shot with Stan James.

However, with both sides in such goal-scoring form, you might be want to take advantage of the offer of 3.0 (2/1) from Ladbrokes for the net to be legitimately hit on four or more occasions.
