Birmingham looking to test United’s unbeaten record

Manchester United hope to return to winning ways after escaping White Hart Lane with a draw, with underachieving Birmingham hardly a team that can cause them too many problems.

Rafael Da Silva’s much publicized red card against Tottenham means that John O’Shea will start at right back, after he returned into action in the reserve game against Bury.

Paul Scholes also played some part in the 8:0 victory and he could go straight to the starting line-up, especially with United craving for creativity at the moment.

Birmingham, on the other hand, continued the poor run of results as they failed to hold on to the lead against fierce rivals Aston Villa and they are now in for another difficult game.

Liam Ridgewell will continue to deputize for Scott Dann at the centre of defence, while David Murphy will keep his place at left-back.

James McFadden and Enric Valles remain sidelined, whereas Seba Larsson is back to contention after his move to Blackburn fell through.

Manchester United are 1.22 (2/9) at 188BET to win this game, with odds on draw 6.25 (21/4). Away win pays no less than 13.50 (25/2).
