The weekends Premier League action begins at the Emirates Stadium as Arsenal host Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby.

The Gunners will be keen to return to winning ways having seen a return of just one point in the last two league games; that came in last week’s thrilling 3-3 draw with Fulham.

They welcome back Jack Wilshere following his one match suspension, though Bacray Sagna, Mikel Arteta, Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott will all face late fitness tests. Goalkeeper Wojceich Sczcesney looks set to be recalled after a two month absence.

With the possibility of many key players missing the match, the hosts may have to look to Lukas Podolski to get the goals. The German international, who has just 3 league goals to his name so far this term, is 8.0 (7/1) with a variety of bookmakers to open the scoring.

All firms have Arsenal as odds on favourites for the win, with 1.95 (19/20) the best price on offer. Tottenham are available at 4.0 (3/1), while the draw is 3.75 (11/4) with Bet 365.

Andre Villas Boas may name Jermaine Defoe, Aaron Lennon and Kyle Walker in the starting line-up, despite all three suffering hamstring injuries last weekend, though Moussa Dembele remains side-lined.

The visitors 2-1 loss to Champions Manchester City last time out secured back to back league defeats for the first time last season. However, they have lost only once in their last five meetings with their North London rivals.

Emmanuel Adebayor is set to start against his former club, and is available at 9.0 (8/1) to get the first goal of the game, while Steven Caulker who netted for both club and country last week, is 15.0 (14/1) with Sky Bet to get on the score sheet at any time.

Whenever these two sides meet, you can usually guarantee goals. There has been an average of just under 5 per game in the six times they have met at the Emirates, so you might be tempted to take advantage of the 4.0 (3/1) on offer from Stan James for there to be five or more on Saturday.
