Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has expressed his delight at his side’s win against Leeds United at the weekend.
The Red Devils got the better of Leeds 4-2 away from home at Elland Road in the Premier League on Sunday.
Manchester United were 2-0 up at the end of the first half, with Portugal international midfielder Fernandes on target once.
Leeds scored two goals in the space of a minute soon after the half-time interval, but Ralf Rangnick’s side came back strongly and scored two more goals to wrap up a 4-2 win in the end.
Manchester United are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment and are rated at 13/8 on Betfair to finish in the Champions League places.
Fernandes told Manchester United’s official website: “We [kept] on doing the right things, making the right decisions.
“You have to keep doing the right things and taking the right decisions, even if you go down.”
The Portugal international added: “It’s good to see. We are improving on that.
[If we] keep on doing the right things, we will score more goals from set-pieces. The main point is scoring goals. If it is from set-pieces or whatever it is, we have to score.”
