Serie A leaders Napoli cannot afford too many slip-ups if they want to remain at the top and that is why only a win will do against free-spending AC Milan.

The heavily reinforced Rossoneri are slowly climbing the league standings, but they need a win over one of the title contenders in order to be taken seriously.

Napoli are enjoying their most successful league campaign in years, and many see them as the main candidates for the coveted trophy.

The Azzurri, on the other hand, failed to impress in Europe, but they could still reach the knockout stages with two wins from their last two fixtures.

Meanwhile, Napoli are leading the chase in Italian Serie A, although their advantage was decreased to just one point after the goalless draw with Chievo.

This will seem as a good opportunity to return to the right track and the Azzurri can be backed at 1.50 (1/2) to emerge victorious.

Pepe Reina and Nikola Maksimovic have recovered from injury, while Mario Rui should deputise for the injured Faouzi Ghoulam.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Reina – Hysaj, Albiol, Koulibaly, Rui – Allan, Jorginho, Hamsik – Callejon, Mertens, Insigne.

The heavy investment in the playing squad has yet to pay off for AC Milan, who have so far been unable to keep up with Napoli, Juventus, Inter, Lazio and Roma.

The Rossoneri are already 13 points behind their next opponents, although they seem to be showing some improvement at the moment.

Oddly enough, AC Milan not only failed to win any of their last four fixtures on home soil, but they were also unable to score a single goal in the process.

On the other hand, the Rossoneri managed to win last two Serie A matches on the road, defeating Chievo and Sassuolo, which can give them some confidence ahead of the trip down south.

Lucas Biglia and Davide Calabria should be back in contention, while Leonardo Bonucci is likely to start despite breaking his nose.

Giacomo Bonaventura and Ricardo Rodriguez are also fit to play, but Andre Conti will not be returning before March 2018.

Probable starting line-up (3-4-2-1): Donnarumma – Bonucci, Romagnoli, Rodriguez – Borini, Kessie, Biglia, Bonaventura – Calhanoglu, Suso – Kalinic.
