Sunday afternoon’s Premier League action concludes at Upton Park where West Ham United host leaders Liverpool.

Having lost their first three games in March, the Hammers ended the month with maximum points from their last two fixtures to move on to thirty-seven points, and ease any fears of relegation to the Championship after just two seasons back in the top flight.

Another win here could even see them move into the top half of the table, though for that to happen they would need Stoke City to leave Stamford Bridge empty handed in Saturday’s late kick-off.

Captain Kevin Nolan returns for the hosts after recovering from the back injury he suffered in Monday evening’s win at Sunderland however George McCartney is expected to miss out after picking up a hamstring problem in the same game.

Former Liverpool man Andy Carroll is 12.0 (11/1) with Bet Victor to get the first goal of the game ahead of Nolan, who can be backed at 14.0 (13/1) with 888 Sport.

The home win is as highly priced as the 9.0 (8/1) on offer from a variety of firms, with Liverpool favourites at 1.44 (4/9) with Ladbrokes. The draw is a 5.2 (21/5) shot with 888 Sport.

Brendan Rodgers’ men returned to the top of the table after thumping Tottenham Hotspur 4-0 at Anfield last weekend, and they will go into next weekend’s potential title decider with Manchester City in first place if they at least match the result achieved by the 2012 champions against Southampton on Saturday.

With eight successive wins, the Reds are by far the most in form team in the division, and three points here would see them achieve nine straight wins for the first time in almost eight years.

Luis Suarez is unsurprisingly favourite to open the scoring with what would be his thirtieth goal of the season at 4.33 (10/3) with Bet Victor while Daniel Sturridge is a 4.5 (7/2) shot with Ladbrokes.

Liverpool have averaged three goals per league game in front of their own fans so far this season, and can be backed at 2.05 (21/10) with Coral to score at least three here, while a repeat of the 4-1 scoreline they achieved when they welcomed the Hammers to Anfield back in December is a 21.0 (20/1) shot with Stan James.
