Saturday’s Premier League action kicks of at Old Trafford where Manchester United face rivals Arsenal.

Inconsistent is arguably the best word to describe the start to Jose Mourinho’s time in charge of the Red Devils, who ended a winless run of four league games with victory at Swansea City a fortnight ago.

That result saw them move up to sixth place and another win here would see them go level on points with fifth place Tottenham Hotspur, who face West Ham United later in the day.

Top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic will miss the game through suspension while Maroune Fellaini is doubtful with a calf problem though Ander Herrera returns from a ban and England duo Wayne Rooney and Luke Shaw are both available for selection.

Marcus Rashford is priced at 7.0 (6/1) to get the first goal of the game with Coral, with Juan Mata a 13.0 (12/1) chance with Bet 365.

The home win is 2.63 (13/8) with Paddy Power with the visitors as highly priced as the 3.40 (12/5) on offer from a variety of bookmakers while the draw is widely available at 3.0 (2/1).

Unlike their opponents, Arsene Wenger’s side are in fine form and haven’t lost since the opening day of the season.

That loss came against league leaders Liverpool and they could leapfrog the Reds into first place with three points here.

The Gunners will assess the fitness of Alexis Sanchez ahead of kick off though Spain pair Hector Bellerin and Santi Cazorla both miss out through injury.

Olivier Giroud is 7.0 (6/1) to open the scoring with Paddy Power, with Theo Walcott available at 9.0 (8/1) with a number of firms.

Both of last season’s meetings between the sides ended in home wins with United winning the corresponding fixture 3-2 back in February while it was the North Londoners who took to points from the meeting at the Emirates last October to the tune of a 3-0 triumph.

Both teams have scored in four of the last five clashes so you may be tempted to back that outcome this time around at 1/8 (4/5) with Stan James.
