Premier League

Sunday’s Premier League action concludes at the Etihad Stadium where champions Manchester City take on Chelsea.

The hosts reclaimed top spot in the Premier League after they beat Everton at Goodison Park on Wednesday evening, though they could well be back down to second place by the time this game kicks off with Liverpool, who sit below them on goal difference, hosting Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

Pep Guardiola could welcome Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling back to the starting line-up after both came of the bench midweek, though Benjamin Mendy, Vincent Kompany and Claudio Bravo remain out.

Sergio Aguero is favourite to open the scoring at 4.4 (17/5) with Bet Victor, with Sterling a 6.5 (11/2) chance with a variety of firms.

Most bookmakers have the home win at 1.5 (1/2), with the visitors 7.5 (13/2) with Betfair. The draw can be backed at a price of 4.65 (62/17) with Unibet.

The Blues bounced back from their 4-0 loss at Bournemouth with a 5-0 thrashing of bottom-of-the-table Huddersfield Town last weekend – a result that moved them back into the top four.

They are likely to remain in fourth spot if they avoid defeat here, though they could be as low as sixth by the time the game kicks off with both Manchester United and Arsenal hot on their heels.

Antonio Rudiger could return after recovering from the knee injury that kept him out last time while Callum Hudson-Odoi and Gary Cahill will both be monitored ahead of the game.

After scoring his first goals for the club a week ago, Gonzalo Higuain is priced at 10.0 (9/1) to net first here with Eden Hazard a 10.5 (19/2) shot with Unibet.

Maurizio Sarri’s side ended City’s unbeaten start to the season to the tune of a 2-0 win back in December, while a Bernardo Silva strike was enough to win last season’s corresponding fixture.

There has been a clean sheet in each of the last four clashes between the pair, including City’s 2-0 win in the Community Shield back in August so you may be tempted to back just one or neither team to score this time around at 2.15 (23/20) with Bet Victor.
