Tuesday evening’s match from the King Power stadium sees bottom of the table Leicester City host European hopefuls Liverpool.

The Foxes extended their winless run to eight games after losing a thrilling game at Loftus Road on Saturday afternoon, losing 3-2 to fellow strugglers Queens Park Rangers.

The result saw them slip to twentieth place after Burnley rescued a point against Aston Villa, though victory here could see them rise to as high as fifteenth place depending on results elsewhere.

Striker David Nugent is a doubt as he struggles to shake of a calf and ankle problem, while Dean Hammond and Matthew Upson remain out.

Leonardo Ulloa, who hasn’t scored since bagged a brace against Manchester United in his sides last victory over two months ago, is 7.5 (13/2) to open the scoring with a variety of firms, with Jamie Vardy a 10.0 (9/1) shot with Coral.

The home win as highly priced as the 4.0 (3/1) on offer from William Hill, with the visitors favourites at 2.1 (11/10) with Bet Victor. The draw is widely available at 3.6 (13/5).

Brendan Rodgers’ men ended a run of five games without a win with a narrow victory over Stoke City at Anfield on Saturday afternoon –a result which moved them to within five points of the Champions League qualification places.

Another win here would move them level on points with North London duo Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur who currently sit in sixth and seventh place respectively, with neither side playing until Wednesday evening.

Mario Balotelli remains out with a hamstring problem, while Mamadou Sakho will also miss the game despite returning to training after recovering from a thigh injury.

Rickie Lambert is priced at 6.1 (51/10) to get the first goal of the game with 888 Sport, ahead of Raheem Sterling, who is 8.0 (7/1) with Ladbrokes.

This is the first meeting between the sides in over a decade, and Liverpool are unbeaten in the last four clashes with Leicester’s last triumph over the Merseyside club coming in March 2001.

The two teams have scored just five goals between them in November, so you may want to back less than two goals to be scored here at 4.33 (10/3) with Coral.
