Soccer - Barclays Premier League - Stoke City v Everton - Britannia Stadium

Saturday’s Premier League action concludes with arguably the game of the weekend as top-four chasing Everton host title favourites Manchester City.

Roberto Martinez’s men’s 2-0 defeat to Southampton last time out severely dented their hopes of qualifying for next season’s Champions League though three points here will see them move to within a point of fourth place Arsenal, who face West Bromwich Albion on Sunday afternoon.

Captain Phil Jagielka is set to return to the squad after missing the last ten weeks with a hamstring injury, though fellow centre-back and former City man Sylvain Distin is doubtful with a similar problem and Gareth Barry is ineligible.

Top scorer Romelu Lukaku is priced at 8.0 (7/1) to open the scoring with Bet Victor, while Ross Barkley is available at 15.0 (14/1) with the same firm.

The home win is generously priced at 5.0 (4/1) with William Hill, with City odds on favourites to take all three points at 1.75 (3/4) with most firms. The draw is widely available at 4.0 (3/1).

The visitors beat Crystal Palace last Sunday afternoon to move to within three points of Liverpool, after the leaders had lost to second place Chelsea earlier in the day.

The fact that they have a game in hand over the top two means that their destiny is back in their own hands, and victory here will see them rise to first place, at least until Chelsea face Norwich City on Sunday afternoon while Liverpool travel to Crystal Palace on Monday evening.

David Silva is available after recovering from an ankle problem, though fellow Spain international midfielder Jesus Navas misses out after injuring his ankle in training a fortnight ago.

Sergio Aguero is priced at 5.5 (9/2) to get the first goal of the game with a variety of bookmakers, while Yaya Toure is an 8.0 (7/1) shot with Ladbrokes.

The Toffees have won each of the past four times City have visited Goodison Park, with three of those victories coming to nil, so you may be tempted to back them to win without conceding this time around at 11.0 (10/1) with Coral.
