Hull vs West Ham

Sunday’s late afternoon kick-off in the Premier League comes from the KC Stadium where Hull City host Tottenham Hotspur.

Steve Bruce’s men are without a win in four games and without a goal in three, form which has seen them fall to within two points of the bottom three though victory here would see them leapfrog their opponents and could even see them rise into the top half depending on results elsewhere.

Goalkeeper Alan McGregor is set to recover from a shoulder problem in time to feature, while Nikica Jelavic, Curtis Davies and Michael Dawson are all expected to return – the latter one of three ex-Spurs players set to face their old club.

Abel Hernandez is widely available at 8.0 (7/1) to get the first goal of the game, with Hatem Ben Arfa a 13.0 (12/1) chance with Bet Victor.

The home win is a generous 3.6 (13/5) with a variety of firms, with the visitors favourites at 2.25 (5/4). The draw can be backed at 3.5 (5/2) with Sky Bet.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have lost three of their last four league games, though they began the weekend just four points off a top four place.

Kyle Naughton is suspender so Eric Dier is expected to come in at right-back, while Erik Lamela is set to replace Andros Townsend who had to withdraw from international duty with an ankle problem.

Both Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado are priced at 6.5 (11/2) with Bet 365 to open the scoring with Nacer Chadli a 10.0 (9/1) shot with the same firm.

Last season’s corresponding fixture ended all square back in February, with Tottenham winning out 1-0 at White Hart Lane in October – three days before they beat the Tigers on penalties at home in the fourth round of the League Cup with the score 2-2 after extra time.

You may want to back both teams to score this time around at the widely available price of 1.8 (4/5), though with Hull not scoring in over three hundred minutes of football, the away win to nil is worth considering at 3.8 (14/5) with Coral.
