This evening’s match at White Hart Lane sees Tottenham Hotspur host Hull City in the fourth round of the Carling Cup, as they did in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

A Roberto Soldado penalty was enough to separate the sides four days ago, but the Spaniard is unlikely to feature for Andres Villas-Boas men this time around, with the Spurs boss likely to rotate his squad.

Record signing Erik Lamela is set to start the match, as he did in the 4-0 victory over Aston Villa in the last round, though Younes Kaboul and Danny Rose aren’t yet fit enough to return to the fold.

Lamela is widely available at 7.5 (13/2) to open the scoring, with Jermaine Defoe a 5.0 (4/1) shot with Betfred.

The hosts are priced at 1.36 (4/11) with most firms to win the match in ninety minutes, with Hull widely available at 11.0 (10/1). The draw is 5.0 (4/1) with Bet 365.

The Tigers edged past Huddersfield Town a month ago to make this stage of the competition for the first time since the 1977/78 campaign, when they lost 5-1 to Arsenal.

Steve Bruce is still unable to call on Abdoulaye Faye, Sone Aluko, Allan McGregor, Danny Graham and James Chester who all remain side-lined through injury while Jake Livermore is ineligible to face his parent club.

Top scorer Robbie Brady is 24.0 (23/1) with 888 Sport to get the first goal of the game, ahead of George Boyd, who is a 26.0 (25/1) chance with Bet 365.

The 1-0 win at the weekend stretch Spurs’ unbeaten run against Hull to five games, and they have kept a clean sheet in their last three matches against the Tigers at White Hart Lane.

They are priced at 1.85 (17/20) with Coral to keep a clean sheet this time around, while they are 2.1 (11/10) to win the match without conceding.

Alternatively, you may wish to take advantage of Coral’s offer of 7.0 (6/1) for a repeat of the 1-0 score line that was enough to give the North London club all three points four days ago.
