Tuesday evening’s game at the KC Stadium sees relegation threatened Hull City take on a Liverpool side still in the hunt for a top-four finish.

Steve Bruce’s men ended a six game winless run with victory at Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon, though they remain just a point clear of the bottom three with five games left to play.

This is the first of four home games the Tigers have left to play, though it is also the first of four against sides in the top six of the table.

Mohamed Diame and Andy Robertson are both set to return after recovering from respective knee and ankle problems though Nikica Jelavic, Curtis Davies and Robert Snodgrass are still injured and David Meyler completes a three-match ban.

Dame N’Doye, who got his fourth and fifth goals for the club at the weekend is 9.0 (8/1) to open the scoring with Coral, while Abel Hernandez is a 10.0 (9/1) chance with the same firm.

The home win is as highly priced as the 4.33 (10/3) on offer from Betfred, with the visitors favourites at 2.05 (21/20) with a variety of firms. The draw is available at 3.5 (5/2) with Sky Bet.

Liverpool’s challenge for a Champions League qualification place was dented after they dropped two points at West Bromwich Albion, but they can move to within four points of fierce rivals Manchester United with a win here.

Alberto Moreno will be assessed ahead of kick-off so may play some part, though Lucas Leiva, Mamadou Sakho and Daniel Sturridge are all injured, with the latter likely to miss the rest of the season as he struggles to shake off a recurrent thigh and hip issue.

Mario Balotelli is widely available at 7.0 (6//1) to get the first goal of the game ahead of Raheem Sterling, who can be backed at 7.5 (13/2) with Stan James.

The sides played out a goalless draw back in October, while both of last season’s clashes ended in victory for the home side.

A Liverpool victory can be backed at 3.3 (23/10) with Bet Victor, while you can back Bredan Rodgers’ side to keep a clean sheet at 2.4 (7/5) with Ladbrokes.
